BLAH-Cappella: Vulva Va-Voom Struggles With Imperfection

A high-energy, mercurial song-and-dance comedian (transgender, goth, mildly intoxicated, rapidly aging, charmingly unstable) attempts to make a five-star show sparkle on a bare-bones one-star stage.
Vulva Va-Voom (they/them/he/him) is descended from a proud tradition of "Make Do and Mend" vaudeville and underground cabaret headliners. If the only fancy chair has two legs, jam tires under the back. Fold aluminum foil around a lighting instrument for reflection. No nightclub dressing room? Flip the mop bucket in the janitor's closet. But functional tech equipment doesn't grow from magic beans, and they're just going to have to live with that.
When you wanted lighting effects and a fancy soundboard, "blank planks" plus an on/off light switch and the city's saddest little speakers leave an artist with the bare minimum. Or is that..."leave an artist with the essentials?"
